Maximilian Colloredo-Mansfeld manages his family’s multigenerational art collection and part of the family’s estate. As part of the next generation responsible for the estate, he is confronted with the challenge that many historic families face: how to adapt a centuries-old legacy to the demands of the modern world, keeping it culturally alive and financially sustainable.
To address this, he founded Kollektor, a digital platform that connects selected private art collections with museums, curators, and researchers, enabling exhibition loans and institutional partnerships that keep collections like his own relevant for future generations. Kollektor now works with some of North America’s leading institutions.
Based between Prague and Opočno, Maximilian works at the intersection of cultural heritage, estate management, and entrepreneurship, building new infrastructure for a problem that many family estates across Europe.
